 God calls His people to worship Him. The Music Ministry of East Athens Baptist Church is committed to helping God's people fulfill this call. The mission of East Athens Baptist Church Music Ministry is to joyfully lead God's people in worship, to educate all age groups in developing their musical gifts, to use music as a tool to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to grow spiritually the body of Christ.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR FEBRUARY   2012

Sanctuary Choir:  Rehearsals each week in Feb. 

Youth Choir: Rehearsals each week in February except Feb 26.  Important rehearsal attendance each week. 

Young Musicians Choir:  Rehearsals each Wednesday.  We will sing for evening service on the 12th.

Music Makers:  (4yr olds to 2nd grade)  Rehearsals each Sunday.  Sing Sunday evening, Feb 5.

Handbells:  5pm

UPCOMING EVENTS: 

                              Easter Sunday: The Sanctuary Choir will sing the "Hallelujah Chorus" during morning worship.

                       7pm Evening Service on Easter the Sanctuary Choir will present:  "Love One" and concluded service with Lord's Supper.

                                      May 20 at 7pm the Youth Choir will present the musical:  "Are We There Yet?"

Music Makers Choir:  Ages 4 years old to 2nd grade. Rehearsals each Sunday at 6pm. This choir sings the first Sunday evening of each month during the school year.

Young Musicians Choir: Ages 3rd grade to 6th grade. Rehearsal each Wed. at 6pm. In addition to rehearsal this choir sings the 2nd Sunday of each month during the school year.

Combined Children's Choir: This is our summer program only. For those who have just finished the 1st grade through 6th. We present a Children's Choir musical and include in this program a summer choir camp.

Youth Choir: 7th through 12th grade. Meets each Sunday at 6pm. We present several musicals throughout the year, sing for Youth Sunday, and sing on selected evening worship services.

Sanctuary Choir: 18 years-up. This choir rehearses each Wednesday evening beginning at 7:50 pm. We lead in worship each Sunday morning and sing a variety of music styles. In addition to Sunday mornings we also present other programs throughout the year.

Hand bell Choir: For Youth through Adult. This group meets on Sundays at 5 pm from September through May.
