How To Receive Eternal Life
Jesus said, "I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life, no man can come to the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)
If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and He is the only way to God, note how the Bible says you can know Him.
- You must realize that you are lost and admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death. . ."
All have sinned and the wages of sin is death, and that means eternal death, it means to be forever seperated from God in a literal hell.
In order to be saved, you must realize that is the sad condition of your soul.
- Then you must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, not just with your head, but with all your being.
Romans 6:23 ". . .but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
You must admit that you are a sinner, lost without hope, and you must believe that Jesus died on the cross in your place, that He paid the terrible debt of sin for you.
- Then you must, as you repent, confess Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.
Salvation is the gift of God. God gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die in your place.
If you will admit you are a sinner and believe on the Lord Jesus, then you are ready to confess Him as your Lord and Savior, and if you will you will receive the gift of eternal life.
Romans 10:9 "If you will confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Once you call upon the name of the Lord and are born again, make a public profession of your faith in a local church and follow the Lord in believer's baptism and become an active member of that body of believers.

How to become a member of our church
- You can become a member of our church by a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and then following Christ in believer's baptism.
- You can become a member of our church by moving your "church letter" to our church from another Southern Baptist Church.
- If for some reason your church letter is not available, you can become a member of our church by statement — your statement that you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you show evidence that you have been baptized by Immersion in another Southern Baptist Church.
