 WMU Emphasis 2006-2007:  LIVE THE CALL

When Paul prayed for the Colossians to have wisdom, he had a goal in mind - "That you may walk worthy of the Lord."  Paul talked about some characteristics of Christians who are living the call.

1.  GROWING CONTINUALLY.  To experience this growth, we have to stay in God's Word daily, seeking and searching for the truths He set before us.  Out of this growth in knowledge grows effective service.

2.  PERSEVERE THROUGH HIS POWER.  We need His strength to walk the walk.  The possibility of spiritual power is unlimited for the believer.

3.  INCREDIBLE THANKFULNESS.  Living the call is a celebration!  Because of the cross, Christians should allow walking with and serving Him to bring them daily joy.

 WATCHWORD:  "Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."  Colossians 1:10
